    non--perfect time

I think whatever a person or an animal which get up early would still feel sleepy. All high school students think that it is too early to start classes at 8 am. They think it is better to start classes after 8 o’clock in the morning.

Somebody told me that 8 am is the perfect time to start high school if you get up early, you can breathe the fresh air, and you can do some exercises in the morning. I agree with it. However I disagree with that you won’t use the transportation in the same time with the people who work in the company because almost the workers are starting at 8am. You won’t use the translation in the morning with the workers if the school time starts late. If school time starts late, so “Activities were simply too late in the day, and the time remaining after school was too short.”(Patricia, pg4) I think it is ok; all of the high school students almost are the adults. They can take care of themselves.

Teenagers work too hard more likely to drop out of school. Some of students have a part-time job after school. Who want to start at 8 am to go to school when he/ she have a part-time job? Of course, the answer is nobody wants to start at 8 am because students are very tired. I have a friend who works more than 20 hours a week. She gets up at 7: 20 in the morning. After pm school she has a part-time job until 11 o’clock she arrived at home. She also does her homework everyday. She does it until 2 or 3 o’clock go to bed. How can she get up early in the morning? She always felt sleepy at the first period. Sometimes, she missed the first period. She couldn’t listen to the teacher. She is so tired. She will drop out of school if she still doesn’t have enough sleeping. It is “Work more than 20 hours a week, researchers add, and the benefits can quickly turn negative.” (Laurent, pg1)

Sleeping is very important for teenagers. Teenagers don’t get enough sleeping in modern time. “The average teen need nice hours of sleep, but many students sleep less than seven hours, in part because they need to get to school by 7:30 am or earlier.” (Cindy Kranz, Pg 1) Some of students live in Brooklyn, Queens or wherever. They need to take the subway to school. For example: John lives in Brooklyn. He needs to take the subway to school. One day, he got up late. It was 6:30. When he reached subway, the train was closing the door. He must wait 15 minutes for another subway. He was late for school. He still didn’t get enough sleeping. “It’s not uncommon to see sleep-deprived teens struggling to stay awake in class.” If you are sleepy in the class, could you know what the teacher talked about? No, you couldn’t. So “sleep is important at any age, but getting adequate sleep during the teen years in crucial.” Give us enough time sleeping and late classes, please.

All of the quotation is from he wed site www.sirs.com. The titles of the quotations are “Wake Up, Sleepy Teen: Adolescents Aren’t Getting the Nine Hours of Daily Rest They Need”, “Hey, Kid—don’t Work Too Hard”, “Starting Time and School Life” “Technology Keeps Teens Awake, Study Shows” “School District Debates Changing School Times”

Teenagers couldn’t have enough sleep; they couldn’t get up early in the morning. How can we get the higher grade? So after 8 am is a good time for starting in high school. Nobody wants to have a bad sleep.
